Objective

This immersive program equips Bachelor’s students with hands-on skills and Master’s to carry out AIoT projects using next-generation connectivity technologies. Designed for those pursuing academic and industry-aligned projects in AIoT and xG communication technologies, it provides practical exposure to real-world use cases. Students wil work with localy connected industrial IoT devices using OPC-UA and MQTT, scalable mobile networks for long-range data transport, and AI applications in the cloud and on the edge. Participants will explore cutting-edge tools, hardware platforms, and programming environments, gaining experience with industrial-grade use cases in 5G, IoT, and AI-integrated systems, building a strong foundation for their thesis, capstone,or R&D projects.

      • Designing the Edge-AI pipeline in Edge Impulse
      • Export of TFLite models

End-of-Course Hackathon

Participants will engage in a mini hackathon to ideate and prototype their own AIoT/xG-based projects. The best ideas may be selected for mentorship and project execution support with IICT GmbH, Germany core team.
